  Christmas shopping unhealthy for men.

  most of us guys hate shopping and now there was a study done on the psysiologic effects of shopping on men.

  so ladies, when we don't want to go shopping with you don't take it personal.

  When the men go shopping for themselves, shopping for cars or men things, they can stay for a long time. I don't like shopping when there is alot of people.

  i only checked in here briefley yesterday and missed dawg's "good-by" thread.

  i posted there just now, but don't know if he is checking in any longer.. many of you realize he and i have had our differences.

  in fact, is was after a "cyber-fight" with me that he left the last time.. when he returned, he pm'd me several times just making nice, brief little comments on things i'd post.

  Gifts that scream cheap or are just plain irritating!!!

  as the holiday season approaches, we often hear the term "bad gifts" or "useless gifts" being thrown around in stories of christmas past.

  i was sitting and thinking of different gift ideas and stories i heard in my life, that truly stink or are just plain irritating.

  if the thought counted, then these gifts are thoughtless.

  No Excuse to Shun Families - Almost Lost my Son Today

  i had such a shock today, its almost bizarre, my son was involved in an accident at work.

  he's an ironwoker, which means he works the high steel on skyscrapers and such.

  today he was working and tied his safety harness off to the cable as usual, and went to work.. lots of times they have to lean out and rely on that harness to keep them secure while they reach out to do whatever the hell it is they do (best mom's don't always know all), and today his dumbass bosses didn't have the cable attached on one end.

  SHERRY--- I am happy your son is ok!!! He is so lucky , that it's only a torn muscles in his Shoulder.

  I know what it is like, to almost lose a son. My son had three blockages in his heart. He had surgery. He is doing better now. I hope your son well get better soon.
